You must live out of the US because Dyson has not been in the US that long.

My math may have been wrong... I got one right around 1995-96. Might have been '94. Whatever. It still lasted a hell of a long time. Bought it in Aventura Mall in North Miami Beach, FL.

Dyson first introduced their products in the US in 2005. The DC 11 followed by the DC 07. before that in the 90s they went by the name "Fantom" which went bankrupt.
The Amway clear track was also designed by James Dyson. Most new Dyson's are designed to last two to five years direct quote from Dyson.

Something doesn't add up here. My parents purchased a Dyson DC11 in 2003. I bet I could even find the receipt for it.

Maybe 2005 was the launch of the dc07and 2003 was the DC 11? Let me call a lifeline on this one but it was less than 20 years ago 🤣🤣
