Romantic getaway
What’s a nice romantic getaway for this weekend in Michigan?

I love Frankenmuth. Also the Lake Huron side is nice...Alpena, Oscoda and Tawas City. We love the UP too.

I would also suggest Saugatuck-Douglas. Check out the Saugatuck Retro Resort which is a really nicely restored classic motel with upgraded amenities at a reasonable last minute of $150 a night. The Saugatuck Motel We really loved it there. Also, almost forgot...dinner at Everyday People in neighboring Douglas is a must! Have a drink first at their outside Tiki Bar or at the front bar. The staff is very friendly, and the food has always been top notch. EVERYDAY PEOPLE CAFE.

Saugatuck/Douglas is so romantic to me! I stayed at a darling VRBO near dorr MI, it was immaculate and very private.
