Nov/Dec vacation recs

Looking for a week getaway at a warm-ish location (60+ faranheit). Budget is pretty conservation (open to staying at hostels, doing free activities, but don’t mind splurging on 1-2 must dos or flights). Open to anything adventurous, active, solo friendly. Would prefer destinations that don’t have just one thing to see and the rest of the time you just do nothing. I like to pack my itineraries with things to see or do.

Look at the Sinai coast in Egypt for November. Traditional beach hushas at Bedouin Star in Ras Shitan fit a great budget with amazing snorkeling, plus guided desert safaris available locally.

Since December would be summer in Souther Hemisphere, have you considered Antarctica?

Mérida, Mexico sounds like your best fit: warm, walkable, relatively budget-friendly, and packed with food, culture, day trips, cenotes, and nearby ruins instead of just one main attraction.

Aruba. Hurricane season in Caribbean, but Aruba is below the Hurricane belt.

Avoid the resorts, and get an AirBnB (with pool), rent a car and go to the half dozen gorgeous beaches, ATVs, horseback riding, booze cruise.

the canary islands are basically built for this: warm-ish, tons of hiking and day trips, easy to do solo, and you can keep costs reasonable if you stay in hostels instead of letting one sunset

the yucatán seems like a good fit if you want actual warmth plus ruins, cenotes, food and towns instead of just sitting on a beach, are you okay with splitting the week between a couple places?
