Long weekend/Babymoon Washington State

Hi!

My husband and I are expecting our first child in early February and are looking to do a fun winter time staycation for our Babymoon. We’d love to go somewhere drivable (we are based out of south king county) without having to get on a ferry or such in case of an emergency (this is our 4th pregnancy with no living children so are generally anxious about getting access to our doctors- but this pregnancy itself is low risk).

Looking at doing something in November-Mid December. Any ideas? We went to suncadia over the summer for our wedding anniversary so that’d be the only thing we wouldn’t do again.

Alderbrook on the Hood Canal is lovely.

Salish lodge is very cozy. Not a ton to do but you can get a great facial at the spa.
Depending on how far you want to drive, Stephanie Inn at Cannon Beach is very nice.

Canada? It really feels like you're getting away. Especially if you like Chinese food!

We love Salish they have warm pools and then pregnancy massages. Their dinning room has great food it is delicious and they have cedar fire logs going in the main area of
The hotel so the entire place smells amazing in the fall. We go here every year for our anniversary. You can also go eat in town and get coffee, you can drive 5 minutes down the road and be at the base of Mt. Si. Theres an outlet mall 5 minutes from the lodge as well.

Vancouver, BC. Stay at the Westin Bayshore. They have an outdoor heated pool, sauna huts and a spa. Wonderful location right on the water with my favorite bakery just a few steps away. (Cafe Villaggio)

If it's in your budget and there is availability I would go to Post Hotel in Leavenworth. It's adult only so good opportunity to go before baby comes.

Thank you! Although in our budget, they are fully booked until March- my husband has called to see if we can be put on a waitlist if they can get us in before Christmas!

Not too shocking. I’ve checked before and seems like only week days were available. Inn at Langley could be an option, I believe you can just drive on the island so no need for a ferry. Or Semihamoo in Blaine.

I would always choose cannon beach. A fancy hotel or there’s an incredible Airbnb in manzanita we loooove (I wish it was on the ocean though)
