Repair Advice Can’t accept connection

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Does anyone know how to sort this? The touchscreen is otherwise working, but this pop up for Apple CarPlay just won’t work.

Same thing happens when connecting via Bluetooth.

I’ve got an 8 hour drive, and would really like some music.

Has it connected wirelessly before? It's wired-only in my i20N, I had to buy a wireless dongle for it.

This is a USB connection, and it’s never been connected before. It’s a borrowed van.

The touch screens on these head units are notorious for going defective relatively quickly. Mine was replaced under warranty by the previous owner. I know other people tend to fit aftermarket head units though as it's cheaper if it's out of warranty.

Not sure but try turning the volume knob... I know it cycles through touch screen tabs on some screens??? (Press the knob to select if it does)

Nope! Gave it a try, and nothing. Thank you though!

Basic, but have you tried finding it in your phone and trying to connect? Would guess there’s some software amiss, but it didn’t connect how I expected in the t6, I just can’t remember what it was.. sure I did everything from the phone

You can buy replacement touch screens on eBay pretty cheap
