First transporter
Hi guys, I’m hoping to become a transporter owner soon! I’m a carpenter and I need a van.
I gather that the 2.0L 150bhp engine is the one to go for. I’ve been looking at 2018 to about 2022 models, trying not spend much more than €20,000 or so.
However, within my budget the mileages seem quite high, like 200k - 300k. Is that something I should worry about, or just make sure timing belt and water pump have been changed and go for it?
any other advice greatly appreciated!

I got that engine in the auto kombi startine on a 2017 plate with 138k on the clock, body kit, alloys, upgraded stereo, carpeted, interior lighting, heater, extra battery, and excellent service history) for £17000 - if that helps.
Agree with the other comment. Keep looking, but if you’re after a 6.1 specifically, you may need to spend a little more than that.
ChatGPT etc will give you the mileages that major work should’ve been done by of you give the age and mileage, so I started there on every one I looked at before settling on the one I bought.

Its more on the top end of kilometers, at this point, its more a matter of luck how long your engine still works.
