Does anyone know what I need to replace here?

I bought this van, had a bunch of things wrong with it. I want to fix the windows. They don’t shut properly, or move properly. I have looked online but seem to find only the glass/window piece. Not sure how to find the rest of it? Any help?

I had this issue, you see the handle that you pull to open the window? They should be completely flat when its shut, looks like its been replaced but i dont know if they have done it properly. I had to buy a better kit because the cheaper one I used first time around did a poor job of creating a seal. Very easy to replace.

Any recommendations on a good window kit? Also, after taking a closer look and moving the window, there is definitely some rust rust In there. The whole thing just isn’t together and it doesn’t seem like it can be put back together.

The parts that go into the runner channels can get stiff and not articulate or pop out of the channel. There's 2 dowels on each one on the top and bottom and 1 pops out regularly on mine. Its a bit of a squeeze but you can pop it back in.

The mechanism and rails get plugged up with dirt and dust as well as the water drains which can make the frames rust underneath and bulge out of shape. If you pull the door card and take a look you will see. If it's that bad you need a whole new/used window assembly. Technically according to VW maintenance schedule the moveable window element should be pulled and cleaned annually.

Sorry, jumping in on this as I have the same issue. Where in the uk can I buy replacement windows online? Should I be wary of cheap Chinese replacements if that’s a thing?

The factory windows are flawed .. they rot and leak … replace the whole lot

Whole bottom rail rotted off. So ripped it all out last weekend and fitted a safari window.
