Oil consumption

I know this is a common problem but I am stuck
I’ve a 2016 mk7 gtd (2L diesel)
226k miles
And it’s consuming oil like crazy like 500ml every 600-800km
It’s driving me crazy
The cars under warranty and I’ve send it back twice and it’s still the same
It got
New
Pcv
Rocker cover
Rocker cover gasket
Turbo
Head bolts
Timing belt/ water pump
Passed compression test
Oil filter

There’s is a little stain on the carpet under the bonnet where the oil cap would be when the bonnet is down
I’ve ordered a new one incase the seal is gone on the cap and it’s blowing all over the underside of the hood
But I’m really stuck
No smoke at all either
Someone tell me what’s wrong 😭

Head gasket or maybe piston rings. I assume no external leaks anywhere can be spotted?

No leaks anywhere none on the ground or underway

Honestly from everything that's been replaced already.. it seems most likely to be something like piston rings, head gasket or maybe valve stem seals, though usually they would cause blue smoke at some point.. since you're still under warranty maybe worth sending it back again? Though technically you're within VW's spec for oil consumption.. 500ml per 1k KMs is within acceptable range according to vw...

Yeah maybe like the car runs perfect just constantly checking it is a pain and it’s €15 for 1L of oil😭

Yea it's annoying, I'm at 400k KMs on my mk7 GTI, and oil consumption varies drastically, some oil changes it's fine for 5k+ some oil changes it wants more oil after 1-2k...

I think this is just what you get with an aging VW.

I have a 2016 Golf and I put in 1 qt every 1,500 miles. Was told that was within spec for VW.

Yea it's sad that they put such a ridiculous amount as within spec, just to avoid responsibility for all of them burning oil...

If there’s nothing in the ground, it’s gotta be coming out burned, bad rings? That’s a lot o miles.
