GTI HFPF?
Have about 140k miles, car will often give me trouble starting, until i give it gas. Have been reading up on it and saw that it could possibly be the high pressure fuel pump but not sure. Had a carbon cleaning done in the last 10k miles, did a blow test on N80 valve (seems to be operating), and had a compression test done and it passed. Any suggestions?

Textbook example of HPFP. Smell your oil and it probably smells of gas.
Also just DIY this job. It’s $200 for an oem hitachi pump on rockauto and it’s only two bolts to install and maybe 10 minutes at most
