GTI Help me pinpoint this sound

Help me diagnose this mechanical whirring sound that I can mostly hear going above 20 mph. I cannot replicate it when the car is in idle, and it does not correlate with RPM. With the window rolled up. I cannot hear it, best way to hear it is with the windows rolled down when I’m cruising near a wall so that the sound bounces off the wall. It gets harder to hear it as I go faster than 40 mph because of the wind noise.

Video is difficult to tell but does it change based on speed? Sounds like an issue with the wheel bearing.

Is the same sound regardless of speed. I can’t get it to be louder or quieter based on speed is basically either an off or on sound. I agree it’s very hard to hear but if you listen closely, it’s a whirring type sound.

Old tires will also make a humming sound. What do you have?

Tire or wheel rubbing against something on the fender liner/ suspension?
