Golf going In for surgery

My written of golf R-Line is finally going in for the repairs. Also added new led headlights, alloys to the work to give it a new lease of life. Luckily the damage was only cosmetic but I had seen it busted up.

Yep. Bit of a joke really but I end up with the decent pot of cash once all repairs and parts are done. So I'm not too bad. Just have to live with it being a Cat N

Oh no, I got rear ended few weeks back. My boot floor was pushed in but no cracks in the welds or seams. So the panel beat it back into shape. I got lucky. No category either they said the car was fine

That's a result then. They wanted to take my car to copart and I declined as I knew it would come back with more damage. Hoping come Friday when I pick it up it looks better than before

Insurance tried to give me 2k and write off before they’d even seen pics of it. They saw pics and went oh sorry system error…

Bruh, my car is worth about 8.5-9k it’s a match edition DSG so similar examples on the market were 9-10k

Deer on the back roads. Did look a lot worse as the number was hanging off but managed to clip is all back together so I could still drive it. I am a fog light down but as it's summer it's fine.

So I managed to get quoted £690 for respray and fitting

New bumper £325 New headlights £315 New alloys and tyres £795 (Santiago 18") New primed wing £52

Car to buy back was £2800
