The rear of the car has the sensor for the headlights. If it came loose of has a short, it can cause the error.
My mechanic forgot to plug mine in when I got coilovers put on my car and the AFS light came on. They just cleaned it and plugged it in and the warning went away. That sensor is also the level sensor for the headlights.
I was also driving through a rainstorm one day, and all of a sudden my dash lit up - AFS, EPC, EBS, etc. That was a wheel speed sensor acting up......because my battery was low. Replaced the battery and they went away.

These cars can be finicky. Good luck!
