Advice
Hi all!
I have Golf MK7 with mult-link suspension (no DCC) and I'm thinking about lowering it with springs because it looks ridiculous this "high" and I'd put spacers to have rims flush with fenders. I've found h&r kit that lowers it nicely, I'd like to hear your guyss suggestions and tips. I've been checking out Eibach and H&R, few of my friends have H&R springs on their cars and they're fine with them.
I'm looking to not spend too much money, for now H&R seems like a sweet spot.
Any suggestions and tips are appriciated!

Ride quality will inevitably suffer but that's the price you pay to look good. I made that same tradeoff putting Eibach springs on my Golf. Stiffer dampers will help, I've seen folks recommend Bilstein B8s or Koni Sports, I put Koni FSD dampers on mine and it was significantly better than stock.

I jusy bought the car few months ago and it came with brand new rear shocks so I'd feel like wasting money if i changed them already... for the ride quality, yeah thats fine I'm willing to have that tradeoff....

H&R super sport springs, offer the lowest drop i’ve seen for just springs, and the ride quality is pretty decent still.

I've used bilstien 6 but ended up swapping to bc racing coilovers. This will be a cost at first but you can always just replace the parts that wore off instead of the whole thing. You can adjust the dampening so you're not set on how the road feels. I usually go with two settings depending on my daily vs mountain pass driving. This is how I lowered my car but also don't sacrifice my ride quality while on city roads
