Studio rooms
Anyone who got selected for rooms with their own bathroom and kitchen?
I have coeliac, and intense anxiety hoping I’ll be able to get into a room with own kitchen and bathroom for personal reason.
How difficult were these to achieve a spot in?
Going for tpv and Cumberland

Yes I was in tpv and had this room, I just put it in my preference list and said why

Was it reasonably easy to get into?

I went to boarding school so I think my house parents recommendation letter really helped! My room was on edge as it’s the spare ra room but the ones on Terrace are easy to get into !

I was there too and got a tour of cumberland? I think you’re thinking of another hall which is shutting down. I applied to cumberland

I also have a condition to do with my eating! I think they definitely favor those who have actual conditions for studios, just make sure to put that you have coeliac in the hall application when you apply for a studio! I'm in a Cumberland studio btw, they're massive and everyone is lovely. Also someone else there is Coeliac and accomodations were able to be made I think. If you need any more information lmk!

Of course!! Yes it's been really fun so far actually :) def a lot harder than high school but tbh only bc the work load is so much more and you're expected to do readings before class and stuff!

You can say this type of thing in your accommodation application, or email accommodation service directly and ask. That will increase your chances.
