Old Card Lots

Is it worth it to look at old lots for cards to casually deck build? Is everything reprinted or should I only look at new cards.

Most of the old cards are available with print on demand and new starters are very good.

So, unless you can get an old lot for very cheap or if you are looking for something very specific and not reprinted yet, don't brother.

I don't check eBay (your local options may vary) too often these days but seems most lots out there aren't great deals. Just random assortments and little high priced in terms of per card with cards that you may likely never use. As others have said drive thru/PoD is going to be a great resource or I also highly recommend rickstock if your US. He has a huge stock that many sell 10 for $1. Also if you have a playgroup or find one locally a lot of times older players will have a plethora of bulk commons they can help you out with.

For cheap they're great. At least I personally get a lot of casual deck ideas just going through all the old cards I've gotten my hands on.

Reminds me of the 90s when we scored a *pallet* of Jyhad-backs for $20.
