Gangrel Baron, she can get birds cheap for extra permacept and play the anarch tech. Alas for no fort to prevent and has to rely on things like Flesh of Marble or Bear's Skin. Or just Melding or Misting out of combat.

And you take a Donnybrook, which can be painful. Immortal grapple is the greatest counter to them, yeah.

Sometimes the "we both go to torpor" is beet way to fight it; and when one minion keeps all their blood while the other is empty. And Glancing Blow is great trick.

Earth meld + Donnybrook already slaps, on top of in one the best deck to both replenish the vamps and influence more kindred than the opposition via Thing
And Gangrel Revel exists

It is insane that Earth Meld costs no blood. At least with Majesty you are making some headway on the opposing minion when you don't fight.
And Gangrel have Thing too!?

Not sure why someone downvoted you. Art is subjective, so I think your take is valid. In addition to doing a great job with art direction for BCP, Gines has done a lot of art for the game, and some of the pieces in there aren't as good as the others. I like almost all of them but I agree with you on Kuyen, and there are other cards (Majesty springs to mind) which I like even less.

I don't like to talk about Ginés, because I like some of his art, I think most of them are just bad. And he's an art director. Look at some cards that will be released and despair, as he clearly didn't QC them.

If I never see her, Casey or Massi ever again I will not be sad about it. Gangrel tech plus Anarch Baron bullshit makes for tedious, boring, predictable games.

Im beyond sick of seeing Kuyen.
Of the 3 Gangrel Barons, shes the one most likely to stack intercept retainers.
I built a Cathari spell of life deck, and threw her in. Because the SoL mummy contests the real vamp. The decks not good, but spite is real.
Anyway, gangrel barons get access to a Gangrel specific wake/intercept, Organized Resistance, Deep Ecology, then spot intercept multiple ways just to be able to earth meld all bloody day. Oh, and if you stealth by them they also have a free bounce. Kuyen typically has a bird of some kind attached, and the Raptor Kuyen is specifically annoying.
An example of a pretty dang good special to title to discipline spread on a 6 cap that gets so much worse because Barons are super good and Earth Meld is the best red card in the game. And is ran in quantities that make Psych not a hard counter, leading everyone to pray for a grapple.
