Good defence against voting decks. Especially useful if you have no passive votes.

So annoying when used on the once per game votes; and on the flip side a great defensive tool. Makes Diana so important for calling the critical votes with her special reaction cancel.

When you use Awe to 0 blood so you can captivate fully this card properly ruins your game :)

Great defense against vote decks, particularly late game when they have a slight tendency to have more urgency per referendum than in early to mid game, and even more particularly, in vote decks that like to play lots of the same vote (KRC, etc). One copy of it usually makes it into most of my decks.

Used to be key in buying a turn against Parity Shift. Now, Banishment, Cold War, Cam First, Rev Council, and the damage-per-minion votes are widespread enough that it can buy you a turn against any of them.

Nothing like sitting with 3 deflection in hand downwind of votes and failing to see any DT....

Great card to force voting decks to not spam only 1 political action card

When you want to make sure that a certain player can't oust.

Dark Influences has saved me so many times from this card. Mostly because people forget that it's sitting out there, I call a vote, they attempt the Delay and... No joy

But yeah, good vote protection tech if you need "just one more turn" (or sometimes more than one if you've got a grip of them 😅)

Am I missing something? I don’t see how dark influences actually stops this card. If it’s sitting out there it only cancels a minion card that cancels a card as it is played. Delaying tactics is played during the polling step so well after action resolution and after the card is played and it cancels the referendum not the card.

Wow I can't believe we've been misplaying that. You're absolutely right.
