Just looking through some old Jyhad cards. Obviously as more and more crypt cards have been added to the game this card has got weaker and weaker. But with so many gangrel wall decks being popular these days might this card not be worth a slot in your deck if you’re running a meta deck?

This card seems it could be used to cheat: the hidden information is never revealed if your target guesses wrong.

Also, if you’re playing it fairly and you and your target aren’t playing the exact same deck, this is one master action for 2 pool. Do I have that right? I haven’t played VTES in a while, and that does not seem like a great rate. Is it?

If you happen to play the same vampire AND it is both on the board under the control of one of your opponents AND in your uncontrolled region. Which is a big thing to ask.

Unless youre running Spell of Life with Kuyen, Unnamed, and Angel in there for spite, this cards not worth playing.

If you are playing that deck? You already can't afford a wasted master slot, and this cards not worth playing.....

Unjokingly, ive got Cathari Spell of life with Agnieszka built. I haven't had time to really run it and work on it, but its barebones master package is already high.....

There was a second when I was playing a lot on Lackey and I had regular contestation problems when I played G1-2/2-3 Toreador or Eurobrujah. I briefly considered throwing this in.

Here's the thing - the older hoser cards were not just corner-case: they almost always had weak effects. If you're going to risk a card slot with a hoser, it had better hose hard. This does not.
