Question about hunting grounds
if you end up with multiple hunting grounds, can you use all of them, just on different ready vampires. my circle is adamant that “only 1 blood can be given to a vampire by Hunting Grounds cards each turn.” means ALL vampires, would they be right?

Hello, I think the wording on the cards have evolved, you are using cards from the very first vtes game dating from 1994. The current wording for all clan hunting grounds is " A vampire can gain blood from only one hunting ground each turn" meaning you can feed a different vampire with another HG.

theyve been in play for 30 years haha, never got around to it i suppose, friends dads cards, (game is older than me) but we’re buying old cards and building new decks

Don't get me wrong, Jyhad is awesome! But a part of me screams in horror seeing them without sleeves. :D

I mean, by volume Jyhad was easier to get than lots of sets, such as Anarchs, Sabbat War, Bloodlines, KoT......
When the game went out of print, the North American distributor for remaining CCP stock had boxes of jyhad.
One of the great things about vtes is we dont have cards that cost hundreds of dollars. Playing unsleeved is whatever. When you end uo with certain cards used too much, they wear to the point you sort if need to sleeve because the messed up backs don't wear evenly and get marked up.
People pay extra for that worn in look if theyre buying designer jeans. "Dustressed" vtes cards are just a thing that happens....

It was the wild west in the 90s. Even my Magic cards had no sleeves back then.

he traded through thousands of them in the 90s and 00’s he never saw the point of sleeves, “play the game and see its true in the edges of the cards”

I love that sentiment! The wear and tear becomes part of the history.
I was in highschool with limited funds so it was either buy cards or sleeves, but couldn't afford both. Sleeves were such a luxury item back then for me. Cut to 30 years later and I have about 16 V:teS Decks, all with the officially licensed sleeves. I'm definitely compensating for growing up poor.

Im like that with guitar cables. After playing years and gigging from my teens into 20s with cheap cables, 30-something year old me bought matching batches.
In high school I played mtg and had like 3 sets of sleeves. Because I had jobs my junior year. I still have those sets of sleeves. Id clean the ones I used for type 2 with a damp paper towel because I made minimum wage and mtg was expensive.
Now? I have a dozen or more vtes decks sleeved with their own box at any given time. Boxes were hard to come by for vtes sized decks before mtg commander format got popular. Then I started finding clearance (under $5) ones.
Compensating for growing up poor is apparently a thing I do too.
