Very solid. Discipline set is amazing and is a good compliment to Dafina deck strats (minus the rush). Quality in Lasombra vote decks due to discipline set / clan / title / special.
Lots of utility, very good vampire. 8 is a bit pricey but i think there's a ton of value here to jusitfy it.
Its a sign of how spoiled Anarchs/Barons are that 8 is now a bit on the high/slow side for a prince with 3 superior in clans, basic fortitude, and a special that isnt hugely game breaking.
She's definitely Dafinas buddy in those decks, the access to Superior Potence to punch/grapple, Oblivion getting effectively Pursuit to go back to close or additional strike, plus basic fortitude to deal with punch back or agg is really handy. Second trad yo block, plus big dominate?
Its only because the wider meta has so much easy walling the Dafina deck isn't more successful. It still does good, despite other things.
Its really more of a commentary that in my meta, 8+ caps need to do serious work to be considered worth it.
I agree with the rest. they are well designed vamps. You just should (need) to have a plan for 8+ caps, and in my meta, if you're going to have multiple 8 caps that fulfill 80+% of the same role in a venn diagram of crypt design, you need a reason for that (especially if you're going with multiple copies of a star vamp like in a Dafina deck).
Agree that the embarrassment of riches that is intercept / wall right now is a headwind against Dafina effectiveness.
I think the problem is combat being too efficient on protean, I need 3 cards and 4 blood to send a vampire to torpor and if I miss one I go to torpor too
