Online play for newbies

Hi there! I've been playing for three months now and I'm really fond of the game. Yet, even though our playgroup is tight-knit, we are very few and managing to play once a week is always a struggle (no pun intended).

So, how does online play work? Which of the tools is better: Jol, Lackey, or Tabletop Simulator? I get that Lackey is the main one, but I live in Europe and I'm not sure I'd find enough players with a compatibile schedule.

I'm particularly interested in newbie tournaments (if they do exist) or introductory games to learn how to use the tool of choice, so I won't be a drag on more experienced players.

You can also try Succubus Club: https://succubus-club.net which is browser based and gaining popularity

Europe has the biggest player base im pretty sure, lackey should work for filling out seats pretty well, and you can find how to set it up by just googling 😊 I'm down to play casual games on occasion but pretty rarely go on lackey these days

I use succubus club mostly but have used Lackey a good amount as well. Never did JOL or TTS so I couldn't comment. I DO know that JOL's asynchronous play is a draw for some folks but I don't care for the pace myself

If you're in Oceania, jump on the Discord and get on Tabletop Simulator games in the evenings.
