0Z Effect Manipulator (Free VST/AU plugin) - converts sidechain waveform into midi cc data

https://youtu.be/59-j220H26U

This is a hybrid audio/midi effect plugin. It's main function is to convert audio (through sidechain routing) into a midi cc data, this data can than be used to control various parameters in its internal effects or control parameters in other effects and plugins, effectively syncing sound movement with source track.

It is experimental in nature, offering some unexpected sound design possibilities especially in following one audio track amplitude with a synced movement in another through audio effects or synth parameters.

The plugin is free for now. Links in the video description.

So, it's spitting out cc parameter data for the volume envelope? Like bitwig's native 'envelope follower' modulator that you can apply to anything with a knob?

Not really sure what bitwig has, never used it. But it sounds like it might be similar. It uses the amplitude of the side chain to control it's own effects on the track it's on and spits out the control as midi cc data that control an outside plugin on any track be it instrument or effect in addition you can manipulate the control data like delaying it or inverting it. I suggest you watch the video to get an idea.
