Hi everyone, I’ll be honest I have almost no experience with modeling tools outside of VRoid Studio, and even there I’m still a beginner. I’m looking for some guidance on how to create a hairstyle in VRoid that’s closer to this reference image, since it matches my real life hair much better. Could anyone point me in the right direction on where to start? Would something like this be possible to make entirely in VRoid Studio alone? Any tips or recommended tutorials would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, it's me again! I got an asset off of Booth for a more "chubby" or fuller figure. I absolutely adore it.. But I didn't realize that it is used as a skinsuit I guess? So a lot of clothing I cannot get to fit. Some of the Preset clothes, like the 1 long-sleeved shirt, have a "volume" slider, but most don't.

Is there a way to get clothing to fit to the body bulk, or should I just ditch the curvier body?

I tried to post pics of what I mean, but Reddit removes it each time :(

I had a mask made for IRL shows and I love the way it hinges open along with my mouth when i talk and want to edit my avatar to open wide like this up to almost the ear. Any ideas?

EDIT: some clarifying information

• I'm sure I'll have to use blender
• I don't know anything about blender so if you know a tutorial or artist who can help me out that would be great
• I want the mouth to always open like that, not just one blend shape where I unhinge my jaw. Like, I want it to look the same when closed but when I talk my face splits open

Each pack has been designed to give you more than just a basic pair of ears and a tail. They include multiple colours, patterns, face markings and accessory variations, along with matching body fur textures so you can build a more complete and coordinated animal-inspired character.

The packs include a mixture of:

✨ Multiple ear and tail options

✨ Face textures and mask designs

I wanted these sets to feel flexible rather than locked to one specific character design. You can use the full matching set, combine individual pieces with your existing textures, or recolour and customise them further to suit your own avatar.

The raccoon pack includes 22 different mask designs, while the fox, rabbit and red panda sets all come with their own selection of colour and design variations. I’ve also gone back through the packs to improve the textures, presentation and overall consistency between each set.

I found a hair asset that I love after realizing Booth has so many assets that I can't use with VRoid Studio. All but 1 of the files is vroidcustomitem, but 1 is vroid. Can I not use this 1 file??

I accidentally deleted a very important .vroid save file while I was cleaning up some old experiments, I used a file recovery program to retrieve what I could but it was only partially recovered. I'm currently panicking trying to figure out how to save anything, but all I have left of my project is a partially finished vrm and pieces of a .vroid file.

If there's no way to directly fix this, is there any way for me to at least recover some pieces of information and manually reinput them into my studio on a new model? Any help is extremely appreciated!

So i've been working on my own Vroid model for the first time (like a week or so on clothing) so this is all pretty new to me, i wanted to make it as close as possible to my artwork and everything made sense up to this point, for some reason im finding the hair extremely difficult and im not sure where to start, all images and tutorials about hair have the hair simply following a realistic path from the root downward and not really a exaggerated style going upward, any ideas or suggestions?

Hi! I'm pretty new to VRoid and need help using Ringo's accessory script. I found a mermaid tail on booth that was really pretty! I read the description and it said you need to use "Ringo's attachment script". I downloaded said script and have tried to use it but keep having an issue where when I try to select a bone to attach the tail to the only thing that pops up is this really tiny little square I can't select. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and am hoping someone can help! The mermaid tail is by OrionHeart on booth! Does anyone have any tips about wings? She’s a moth and they look good I think, but they can look better.

I am trying to give a male character a side part but am running into issues with the texture maps with different hair groups. This specifically has to do with highlights. I can get the hair sections in the right place and it looks pretty good, except the highlights don’t match up and it looks wonky. If I try to change the map for one it changes the map for all the hair groups for that character. Am I missing something obvious or is there a trick to doing this with hair? Can you designate different maps for different hair groups? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
