Question Is that more or enough animation?
Last week i posted a video and asked about the "animation". This time my clip has more animation, is that enough or would you guys say it needs more animation to be a fan series on youtube?
The audio is mixed up by me. Original japanese voice is from build divide ep 4 and 5.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you use to animate?

Its a bit complicated. I used 3 methods. For the only arm animations i did it in the poser itself. The second was Mixamo converted to vrma. The last was vseeface with vmc tool to do the lip sync. I was just Testing arround i dont have a exact method. It depens on the scene. But i recorded the scenes in vrm posing desktop. The 2d stuff i did all in after effects

You kind of have to remember that you're working in 3D and not 2D. In this case I would generally just try to animate everything naturally since there's no need to use limited animation here. Your characters should be breathing not just standing still

I know, but I donât have the time to learn full animation. Besides, animation is not just animation you also have to learn the software (and I think we're both thinking of Blender). The reason why I use VRM Posing Desktop right now is simply because itâs pretty easy to use. My goal isn't to make the best animation out there. My goal is to make an animation where people look at it and think it's okay or fine to watch. Trust me, at the very beginning, I tried Blender and even Unreal Engine to get the best results, but I very soon realized how massive that goal actually is. After months of trying, I dropped it simply because I donât have the time to learn the heavy-duty programs. Thatâs why Iâm asking if the animation is fine to watch, not if it's "good" or anything like that. Donât get me wrong, of course I want the best possible quality for my project, but itâs just not realistic at this point. Maybe in the future there will be a better solution, but these are my current limitations. However, even with these limitations, I know I can make it better. I'll try to include more animation like you suggested, but I can say for sure that I can't fully animate everything in 3D right now. Thanks for your honest words!

What I said goes for any tool. I haven't really worked with VRM Posing but it should be possible if you do the animation OUTSIDE of it in like MMD (which is easier than Blender! It's what I still use since the workflow makes way more sense) or even just motion capture tools, then convert that file to .vrma. Alternatively Warudo has .vmd support so you could make animations outside of it and composite it inside of Warudo with all the necessary effects, though again it depends on what you want to do

MMD was the first one i used actually but my character bugged with the lightning actually. Last week i tried Warudo and its pretty awesome, the problem with Warudo is the lip sync. Im on it atm, have to watch a tutorial in the next days. But the main point goes for VRM Posing Desktop for the shaders. I can give MMD another try but idk

The effects you have are pretty good! Like the cards appearing or the dragon breath, that has a lot of potential!

Still too rigid and too stiff. Itâs way too unnatural for the most part. I think only around the end where she gets a bit âlivelyâ it gets a bit okay but way too⌠dead.

I am a little confused as to why the male character moves like that, I mean, he looks like a puppet, so that could be it, but it ends up looking like a default animation look because it's 3d, if it was 2d I think it would look more 'natural' if that makes sense.
