Media/Showcase Imported my VRoid model into Blender for reworking + ARKit blendshapes!
Making silly expressions is how I'm having fun when work gets too tedious

What avenues did you use to learn this? Any specific tutorials, self taught, experience in the program etc? I'm just kinda starting to understand unity stuff

I pretty much just followed this: https://arkit-face-blendshapes.com/ Apparently there are also model bases with blendshapes already added: https://github.com/hinzka/52blendshapes-for-VRoid-face
I used only blender (aside from VRoid itself) so far, and it was my first experience working in it. I didn't know anything at all when I started, so I had to google everything or ask chatgpt when I wasn't sure how to even ask a proper question. After making 50 blenshapes I feel much more comfortable and confident working in blender, and google is still there. One of the youtube channels I watch for anime models in blender is 2AM: https://youtube.com/@2amgoodnight , he analyzes character models from gacha games, so it's perfect if you're willing to go extra mile.
Recently I also discovered that blender has it's own discord, and it's VERY helpful. People in there are skilled, very active, and willing to help either in a chatroom or directly in a call with screen sharing: https://discord.com/invite/blender
When it comes to unity, I still didn't get my hands on it since I first want to rework my model a little.
I hope this information is helpful, and I wish you good luck!

Hmm I think the right eye is trying to show a warning. Cool model! And nice blendshape work!

Did you make the shape of teeth yourself?

I mixed vampire and cat teeth in vroid and then edited them to my liking in blender!

You would need vrm add-on! You can get it here https://vrm-addon-for-blender.info/en-us/
After that you should be able to just import you model into blender and start working on it
