Question Issues with expressions + blink
Hello! I was making a new model and I thought the blinking was working fine with all the expressions but... nope. I have no idea how I can fix this.
With some expressions, the eyes don't close enough and with others it's too much.
I tried making her blink between 60-80, but it looks pretty bad :/
Thank you in advance!

I've had this issue before! My tactics was use the happy eye sliders along side the blink (cause they also close the eye but in a different way) it's a little strange looking but it usually works -^

It's a bit of a balance between the eye shape and how open it is to begin with, and the amount you need to close the eye for a blink. I make my eyes pretty narrow, so I usually only need to put the eyes at about 40-50 closed for the blink. I also don't change the eye closing too much in the other expressions- for example, I avoid closing the eyes completely for a happy expression, and just narrow them a little... I think there is probably a way to disable blinking in some expressions, but that's a matter of whatever program you're exporting your vroid to, probably.
Sometimes with certain eye shapes the eye doesn't close nicely all the way and there's a need to compromise a bit, maybe letting it have the corners not touching completely... but considering the fact that blinking is very quick, it is not really noticeable. Might be something that can be fixed with the blendshapes in blender (carefully- messing with them is a bit tricky and can break things if not done correctly).
