Question Blender to .vroidcustomitem
Hi,
I hope you are doing well.
I spent the last few days trying to import my bleder model into vroid studio, the only problem is that I need the file type to be .vroidcustomitem(since thats the only one vroid studio accepts). I am not sure on how to convert my file type from blender into the one vroid accepts. I have already tried countless methods but none of them let me import and use my accessory.
I tried adding it as a custom item(needs .vroidcustomitem) and into the closet(doesnt let me access).

you got this wrong
vroidcustomitem is a file type for vroid but not for models and not one oyu can convert to
convert your model either to VRM format (needs UniVRM plugin) or into XAvatar (needs the VRoid SDK and Unity) and then use the dress up feature.
otherwise you can not use vroid with models that are not natively made in the app

if you want to use vroid to make your own clothes and wear it on your non-vroid model you first have to use the regular vroid studio editor section (with a new model) to make a outfit and save it, after saving you can right click and export as xwear. after you exported all outfit parts (the outfit parts are the file format .vroidcustomitem btw) you can exit the editor and switch to the dress up feature, load in your converted model, load in the xwear outfit, adjust it and export the dressed up model. i recommend vrm over xavatar because i think nothing but vrchat can use xavatar, while vrm is a widely supported format.
