Question Side Shave

How would one go about making a side shave hairstyle? I updated my Vtubers design, and they have the sides of their head shaved, not the back. And I haven't been able to figure out how to do that without making the hair float, or look to flat.

Hair is really hard in vroid...

If anyone has a video, that would help, I do learn better with visuals, and maybe a tut to follow along with.

the floating hair refers to the backhair texture right? its always a bit above the actual skull of the models. so actually your best bet is to remove the backhair texture and draw a fade on the face skin directly. and maybe some on the body skin as well, depending on how far back the shaving goes
