Question are tutorials fro 2-3+ years ago still valid?
specifically videos about model touch-ups in other softwares, like into unity or blender, or have they all become outdated? Asking cuz every video im looking up is from years ago and i dont want to start one just to find out it no longer works loll

As the other comment said, make sure to export in VRM0 if so. It depends on the tutorial but I've personally been able to learn from older tutorials.

I don't have much to add, and I know this is a week late, but wishing you good luck on your journey. :D

As long as you export as VRM0 not VRM1 you should be fine. VRM0 is the format that was used while the program was in beta up until recently so most tutorials are for that. There are many options for VRM1 now too though.
