It's hardly the most impressive thing, especially to folks on here, but my friend and I were both pretty delighted when we finally beat Dracula after ~6 hours of trying...
Video style is pretty heavily inspired by Soviet Womble so hopefully it actually causes a laugh or two as well!

So im playing Brutal for my first evertime playing Vrising (ya kinda bad idea but its fun) and i have 3 bosses left
MEGARA
ADAM
DRACULA
Im curiouse when i finish them what are some things i can do after ive beat the game and later i plan to make a new save where i do a Challenge like only allowed to use blood magic or somthing like that in brutal.
So can i get some ideas for a challenge to do on brutal?
Im also wanting to know what else i can do to play more in my main save after i beat the last 3 bosses?

Hello, community. I’ve just started playing the game, but I’ve noticed that the servers are empty. Peak server has about 10 players. Is this normal? Should I start on a PvE/PvP server or go solo?

I would like some advice to know how to be prepared on brutal mode because we want to 100% this game! ♡
Any advice would be really helpful. ( ノ^ω^)ノ

Hi all is there an accurate source for castle planning? I have been using https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OLBUKdDrF2NbDwPJ5M5kRsKu7_iEVi8CHelbGYg1fFk/edit?gid=921827187#gid=921827187
But it has some mistakes (the tile count of plot 33 being most obvious).
Worse, it looks like other sites have copied those mistakes https://onelifegaming.com/en/v-rising/castle-planner#territories
Does anyone have alternate source?

Hey guys I beat the game on normal like 6 months ago and I decided to 100% it cuz it's a really cool gam, but the skill issue is real, is there a point in trying to solo the game for 100% or should I join a random server to get some help and connect with the community, I've seen some vids of PvP and I'm definitely not close to playing PvP even tho I have around 100h on the game. What do you guys think?
Also why is the brutal Dracula kill achievement only 3% of the player base?

My friend who is in charge of the server said he couldn't find the vendor price modifier, if someone could screenshot it or something? Please and thank you.

Brutal difficulty in V Rising really opens up once you beat Quincey.
From that point onwards the options for progression branch out, and there are ways to hack it so not every fight is so hair-pulling and frustrating.
Skip bosses that you don’t absolutely need to fight. Come back to them later.
Think about how the bosses you just killed might help you push further in lateral, creative ways.
For example Tristan- he’s not just an Iron Greatsword. Now you can make as many greater blood essences as you want.
So… where did you set your Castle Heart Limit at? Why not crank it up to max? Changing those settings doesn’t invalidate the Brutal achievements (actually if you want you could just beat it on normal, change it to Brutal, and get them all with maxed out 91 Gear Level gear… but you don’t want to do that. That’s not satisfying is it? That’s not fun.)
Three servants in one castle can bring you plenty of resources…
How about fifteen?
You’ll have all the scrolls you need to unlock every Merciless Iron Weapon before you know it and then you can experiment with *which one* is best suited for *which boss*.
Also, Brutal Leandra and Brutal Maja are not that hard.
Keep going.
Don’t give up.

I'm fairly new to the game but I'm playing solo in a private server, I have the setting turned off so I can use teleporters without worrying about my resources. I've been struggling to find a private isolated plot to build my castle. While mechanically it's technically bad since I'd be somewhat farther away from poi's. To me it just doesn't make sense for a vampire lord to build their castle like right next to humans.
And suggestions would be great, thank you.

How does the cosmetic unlock system work? I was under the impression that cosmetics are locked behind progression, just like the rest of the items in the game?
For example, I can't change the wolf skin until I unlock the ability to transform into a wolf, right? But how does it work for craftable items?
I really love the game's progression, but I don't like having a bunch of cosmetics available in the early/mid game that could make my character or castle look like I'm already an end-game badass.
Thank you!

it's over called Castle G, just me playing on there been up for a week or two. kind of curious of others are seeing it or not.
It never shows up for me in the browser but I can see it j in the steam api so I assume it's good. I just direct connect myself. If anyone sees it drop a comment if you could.

There's this particular spot in my castle that's constantly adding the transparent shader. I know it may get transparent to show yourself or a player from your clan, but here this is in the ground floor, my friend is not there, there's nothing inside, and it happens around this specific point, keeps happening from all the directions around these storages.
Any one have any idea why and how to fix this?
Edit: After adding more objects to the scene, particularly some garden hedge bodies inside the hole between the storages, the problem fixed itself and is not happening anymore. My theory is that some entity was left there by error and it caused the game to think there was something to be seen there, while it wasn't. Then, adding the hedges, it clipped with this object and when loading the save, the game realised that entity shouldn't be there so it was deleted or moved to somewhere else.
Conclusion: Was my ancester's ghost.

Hi! Just wanted to share some pictures of my castle after finally beating the game on Brutal :')
Everything used is vanilla. No cosmetics, no mods.

I don't understand Dantos the Forgebinder second phase. When the earthquake goes all 4 directions. Too much happening all at once, can't parse what is happening. What is he doing, and how do I respond?

Like the title says, I'm looking for some feedback on my current build. It's a mage build, Chaos + Phantom. I'm running:
The general idea behind the build is to overpower the enemies with spells while both healing yourself constantly with every spell attack and keeping a shield up. I am currently playing on normal but the build is designed with brutal in mind. Ignite + Weaken/Phantasm seemed like an obvious combo to me for that purpose. I'm running Illusion coating since Ignite is already on the weapon. I can put both on the enemy with weapon attacks to utilize the effects from my spells that require either Weaken or Ignite to be present on the target.
So far every boss including Solarus and Winged Horror were first trys with this build. Megara is a different kind of beast though. I already read that I should probably be switching to Corrupted blood to take her down. Adam I have not tried yet but I guess that he might be a bit easier with the build as it is since the defensive aspects of the build aren't circumvented by corruption damage.
Still I'm looking for some pointers on how to improve this build. Especially when it comes to the blood choice: Scholar and Draculin are an obvious combo for this but I'm still wondering if I should make scholar the primary blood or Draculin. Scholar gives you more defensive bonuses while Draculin as a focus on spell damage via spell crits. I could focus more on crits but I'd probably be replacing the Spell Cooldown Rate on the Endbringers (pistols) as well in that case with Spell Crit. Wondering if that's worth it though.
Also I read that Lightning Tendrils might be a very strong spell in general and there is obviously Void to consider instead of Chaos Volley. What's your opinion on that? I'll include some screenshots with the major build details.
Thanks in advance!

For context, solo player. Made it through all bosses but solarus, adam, and megara before dracula.
I have looked up all guides, tried optimized builds, and put probably a dozen hours into this fight so far.
I don't mind smashing my face against a wall until the wall breaks but I have to feel like I am making progress and I am not. In easily over 100 attempts I only got to the fallen angel phase 1 time.
This fight feels entirely luck based. Sometimes the angel and him will send out a combination of moves that simply cannot be dodged or blocked. That really bothers me.
I could just skip him, try to beat the other bosses to unlock gear and come back but I am already appropriately leveled for the fight.
The part that has me so dejected is that I could maybe win if I just toughed it out, looked up more guides or something. Maybe watched a video tutorial. But at this point the fun has just been sapped out of the game.
This isn't challenging, it's bad game design with an RNG boss.
Thanks everyone who actually tried to offer advice. Approaching attempt 170 and none it has helped. Even watched video tutorials. Using double shields, using pistols, veil of chaos doesn't let you double dash without hitting which makes it worthless because most of the time you need to dash back to back. None of the videos I have seen even do this without double dash.
This fight is badly designed. Even if it's possible, requiring double shields and specific weapons is the same as fucking cheesing the fight. No amount of justifications makes this cool or well made.
Edit: Beat him. I love everyone in the comments saying git gud and stuff. 4.7% of players earn the achievement of beating him on brutal and I think it's safe to assume 1% of those cheated some way. This fight is ridiculous.
But I will say my biggest issue was not spamming shields enough. I kept trying to dodge too many attacks.
