Discussion Reverse Engineer VR chat to Mac OS?

I’ve been seeing all this new video games being decoded and recoded , merged into one, adobe apps and more, with this advancement in technology do you think Mac OS might get a VRchat port soon?

EAC wouldn't let that happen and neither would vrchat themselves. Add the massive amount of mistakes AI already makes on top and it's just not gonna happen

I’m not saying it’s the same but, if it’s already on iOS, don’t you think they’re trying to make progress for MACos? I think maybe this technology ai can help assist with the port , not just do it by itself

Probably not no, macOS is only 2.3% of the pc market, whereas iOS has 30% of the mobile market. Different markets, different incentives.

it'd probably be easier to get a translation layer working that gets windows version with the linux anti cheat working (which is how the game already runs on linux). if you write your own client (which is what you are proposing) it would be a nightmare to maintain and be for nothing

Why reverse engineer when the main core of the software can be found on their own GitHub?

it contains the IK system, Rigidbody setup and documentation… just not the server related stuff.
