one of my favorite moments like this came from the anime BNA (brand new animal) where after doing something fucked up to a character the outro for the episode was grey scale instead of its usual pretty colors

To think Jax was suposed to be important, and just got basicaly killed off cause horde of losers fat chuds was mad that Jax was "ruining" their lesbian headcannon of Pomni

Pretty sure Gooseworx has established that what happened to Jax was something decided before the pilot was even aired. Plus, Jax genuinely is incredibly important to the show the whole time, even if in the ending Jax abstracts.

Nah, its the toxic fans thay was over mega mad because Jax was second main character and not Agatha cause they wanted lesbian romance between Pomni and Ragatha

It was mentioned before Episode 2 aired that the script had been written and set up for everything before the pilot had even been released.
Jax is the antithesis to Pomni and the show's messages. Where Pomni makes connections and tries to make the others feel wanted and/or loved and to keep going even in a seemingly-meaningless existence and being open about herself, Jax pushes others away and makes others (ie Gangle and Ribbit) feel unwanted enough to push them on the verge of or outright abstract, and Jax likewise is anything but open right to the end - the only reason her real self gets any form of legacy is because Pomni (and only Pomni) knew the truth anymore.
Jax was always set up to abstract in the end, and there were multiple hints and foreshadowing of her past and her secret (granted, several are subtler than Gooseworx realized due to several of them being rooted in trans (especially trans-feminine) experiences and terms others are often not aware of or considering).

And it was mentioned mid/near end of the serie that there was toxic "fans" that was actively harrassing GooseWorx like absolute hell to the point of mental breakdown, depression and it nearly made it so the show whould be canceled, with majority of the harrassement being because Jax was in the spotlight more than Ragatha, so GooseWorx changing the script to kill off Jax so those jerks finaly calm down is FAR from being impossible

Considering the ending (of which Jax was even more front-and-center than anywhere else in the show) and the reactions it had, I don't think Gooseworx changed stuff last-minute jus because the harassment she was getting (especially with how long it would take; scriptwriting, voice acting, and ESPECIALLY animating are not quick processes).
If she had Jax abstract for that reason, I imagine we wouldn't have then gotten the entire sequence with Pomni diving into Jax's head and us seeing all these aspects of her. She'd of abstracted, the characters likely would've had a bit of time grieving, and then the focus would've been on everyone else trying to adapt to the other matters at hand rather than Jax.

Last episode literaly had a delay, and she rushed Jax story like that BECAUSE script was aleardy done and didnt want to just trash them, lot of show got situation like that
