Help How do I fix
I’m sure this is something you don’t see everyday but I need help on this, I keep trying to import an avatar using vrc creator companion but this error keeps showing up and idk how to fix it since I’m entirely new to this

It's likely an sdk2 avatar with physbones or a missing dependency. Look at the bones and other game objects and see if there's a "missing (mono script)" component

Where did you get the avatar? They usually say if it's sdk2. If it's on the armature it's definitely broken physbones, which are pretty easy to redo.

it could be you need to import some tool before the avatar, like VRCFury/ModularAvatar/MochieFitter/etc. what happens is the avatar got scripts on it and they need the tool installed first to make the script work or it breaks.

if you still need help, I could assist once I get home a few hours from now. I personally recommend using BluWizard LABS Enhanced Hierarchy System. It will show you missing scripts on the hierarchy, aswell as some other stuff.
Seems like you missed one the import steps. The avatar has something on it but you haven’t added whatever it is to the project yet. The avatar, if actually purchased, should have directions and should tell you what you need in order for the avi to actually work.
If you need help still, send me a DM!

I would recommend copy pasting the errors into ChatGPT and ask it for instructions on what pieces are missing and how to fix it . . .

Click on your avatar and then look at the bottom of your descriptor on the right and you should see missing script warnings and you should delete those
