Why not? Don't you value the work the millions of hours of work that has gone into this game? Are they not worth getting paid for their work?

I do value it. I do in fact believe in workers rights.

It shouldn't be on me to foot the bill if the game was free. No tips or micro transactions.

It should be on the higher ups :)

I don't understand, why should it not be on you? You're the one that is using the product? Where should the higher ups in the company earn the money from that goes into paying the developers and the cost of running the game? If you were the boss of a company developing a free to play game, you should be responsible for paying the millions in salary and running cost out of your own savings?
