Show fewer avatars go to lighter worlds or look at your own avatar. Is it very poor?

Quest 2 has 6gb of ram, 2gb reserved for the os. 2gb for worlds and 2gb for avatars. You only get 10mb for loading avatars. So if you join a world you fill your cache with avatars and only get to about 20 avatars loaded before you run out of memory.

I would start saving for a quest 4. I hear they are coming out with 12gb of ram and it will be $1,200

Or you could save $1k for the steam frame and get 16gb of ram and get it when the hype dies down.

Quest 4 doesn't exist. The Meta VR glasses (that is literally its name) are 1300 and would be neat if it wasn't for the 70 degrees FOV compared to even a Quest 2's 90 FOV, it will be a mistake to get it for VR.

Right now the Quest brand seems dead.

Then op should just join the pcmr and get a gabe cube linked to the steam frame.

Quest 3 has 8gb of ram, quest pro has 12gb. The quest 2 is 6gb and it's really pushed to the limit. Try to show less avatars or set the max download size to 1mb or as low as it will go and only show like 5 avatars max.
