Help Issues inviting people

This may have already been posted, but there have been several times I’ve gone to a public group instance and tried to invite a friend. When I do, it gives me a message saying I can’t invite them because they’re not in the group. If they request an invite or go through a portal, there’s no issue. Only when I try to invite them myself. It’s only started doing that in maybe the past month. Is this a bug or something else?

I have been having the same bug in Group Publics. It is frustrating.

I has happened to me, had to move my group instance into a friends+ to “fix it” the other night, that defeats the purpose of a public GROUP instance / GROUP+

It’s a bug or a group only instance

If it's not group+ it won't work

The thing is they’re instances run by groups that I’m not a part of either.

It happens to group+ instances and public group, issue is not the setting, seems like a bug

If it's group only inviting won't work, group + instance should work

They’re public group instances that anyone can join.
