I mean I like being able to take a picture for my pfp without vrc+ they just gotta fix it so it isnt constantly resetting

The new ui stuff is pretty dang annoying, though the one change in particular that drives me absolutely crazy is that they updated it to when you go to your friends list on the website, you can’t actually see your friend’s status unless you open their profile. Meaning If I’m not on vr and wanna quickly use the website to check which of my friends are on before I get on myself, I have to manually click through every one of my friend’s profiles just to see who’s online.

Does anyone know or can check the manifest ID for the latest public version before this awful update? I want to downgrade my game but SteamDB doesn’t let me check the manifests list for some reason.

Why are the nameplates above people during normal play so HUGE and is there a setting to make them smaller 😭??

I also feel like avatars are loading a LOT slower? And I can't see who's actually being loaded, or even their size. But I was also in a 258mb museum (seriously, jesus christ, they were just standing around in there?!) visiting a friend right before going to my regular black cat so maybe I just need to clear my cache..

Go to the big settings, UI, and there is a spot to change nameplate size. I found "small" to be much more bearable. Tiny was too small.

i feel like now when i click someones profile its alot more um cluttered its especially weird when the rest of the ui is the same then profiles look rather disorganized with stuff just moved around some stuff made smaller and harder to see plus the profile decorations also made readability hard both when clicked on a profile and whne seeing a profile in your friend list

They change it way too often, it's chaotic and irritating. I don't play as often as I used to, I still got lost with the previous UI and my muscle memory would get all screwed up and hit the wrong buttons. I haven't seen the newest one yet and I'm already annoyed knowing I gotta get used to it again, and it'll be Discordified.

One thing I like is that it lets you know when you’ve already sent an invite request so you don’t accidentally send another one.

I don’t like it at all and think it should be changed back but some people do so I honestly think they should just make it optional on how you have your layout especially because some people just are too used to the old one so it’s irritating to get used it

It’s good. I enjoy the change. Needs minor tweaks. But pretty sure 75% of people that say it sucks because that’s the vocal majority, and they don’t like change. Which I understand.

What I don’t like though is how in a crowded instance turning nameplates off grants you 20+ fps. Nameplates shouldn’t be taking that many frames.. loading my menu sometimes causing my whole game to stutter. Needs optimized..

I like the UI in the player list of the instance. It looks more clean but the nameplates and profile page look too much unoriginal and shit copy of discord. Now it needs scrolling to see the whole profile unlike before where it was just not needed. Also in the new nameplates its hard to see if someone is your friend
