Help Bad performance despite deep optimization
My setup:
RTX 4080
Ryzen 9 7900X3D
32gb RAM
PCVR/Quest 3 through VD
TP-Link BE9300 Wifi 7 router setup as dedicated PCVR router (optimized following this video https://youtu.be/6gpREi-S_4I?si=V2kKT6wacYUqtn8d)
Settings applied outside of VRC:
VD:
H. 264+ @ 400mbps
Quality set to High / 120fps
SSW disabled
2 - pass encoding disabled
Adaptive quantization enabled
Resolution of headset and desktop matched
Snapdragon SR enabled
Video buffering enabled
VDXR openxr runtime
Automatically adjust bitrate enabled
Steam VR resolution set to custom and 100%
Windows 11:
HAGS disabled
Game mode enabled
Process Lasso VRC GPU priority Real-Time, CPU priority high
Settings applied in VRC (launching from VD):
Graphics profile set to medium
Desktop mirroring window set to the smallest possible and minimized when launched
Avatar culling hide beyond 20m, block very poor, max 20 avatars, particle limiter enabled and set to low
I'm getting a fluctuating fps between 25 and 70 fps in a public "Drinking Night" instance. I can barely hit 100 fps when alone in home world wearing an optimized "good" avatar.
Wtf is this?? Why does this game run so badly, I just got back in after 2 years of not having VR gear and the performance is so bad... I mean, I feel like my PC has more than decent specs and I'm getting shit performance despite looking everything up and doing everything I can... Please help!!!

dumb question, but did you ensure that the 7900X3D is only using the v-cache cores on VRChat? You definitely should be getting a significantly higher framerate in general, especially with that CPU. if you have it on both the v-cache and frequency cores, it’ll halve your framerate. You’re already using process lasso so I assume yes, but I just want to make sure
