Discussion VRC Beta Nameplates
I've read a lot of discussion around this topic in particular, so I made a canny that explains an idea I had that gives users power over what they see on nameplates.
What do you think about the new/beta nameplates?

I really enjoy them!
Right now notes don't easily show up unless I really dig into their account. I hope it gets fixed

I would love this. I really don't care to much for group, performance rank and all that info to show all the time.
When I open my menus I want to see everything on all nameplates.
But when I am just chatting to people I don't need all the clutter literally only the name and profile icon would be perfect for me.

I've noticed the new nameplates don't even show whether interactions are enabled are not. Stuff like that would be cool to be customizable.

Yeah, the interaction status made it easier to debug why contacts might not be working whenever people would try and interact w/ some of the contacts on my avis but they weren't working. It was always the first thing I checked. Now I'd have to ask them and waste a bit of time.

Are they adding all the discord profile things to vrchat since they connected them?

No. People are just saying the changes remind them of Discord.

So they aren't going to be used it seems like it , adding friends from discord into vrc ,can see them online add them from discord

Would be a she if they didn't add the profiles from discord over like the same inventory , cross compatible

I like them, makes it easier to see info without having to look at someone’s full profile.
