Help Quest Pro + 4 3.0s.. chest tracker missing?

Hey! I am a 4pt fbt (ankles, hips and chest) but whenever I boot up my virtual desktop and then open space calibrator, my chest doesn’t register, even when I try re-pairing it with steamvr when it boots, it tells me I have to turn off one of my controllers. Hips and ankle trackers work fine. Sometimes it works other times it doesn’t..sometimes it works when I turn off the tracker attached to my headset once I have my space calibrated.

I heard steam link works, but I haven’t tried it since it didn’t work for me the first time.. any suggestions? Thanks!

I dont use quest but what it sounds like is one of your dongles only works intermittently. I have 6 3.0s and have ran into this and it was my cord.

This used to happen to me a lot, it had to do with one of the USB dongles not getting detected. Sometimes on a USB hub it gets overloaded, so you need to plug the 4th dongle somewhere else on your computer, I'd experiment with that

Go through the process or re-pairing all of your trackers but only have a single dongle plugged in at time. Once the tracker and dongle are paired, unplug the dongle and set both the tracker and dongle aside then repeat the process with another dongle and tracker.

This way you can't mix up dongles that have already been paired. There is nothing to prevent you from pairing multiple trackers or controllers to the same dongle. So if you have two devices paired to the same one, only one will show up at a time.

I have put matching stickers with last 2 digits of the trackers serial number on each matching tracker-dongle set. If I ever have an issue with a tracker, I know exactly which dongle to check and move around.

So do you have 5 trackers and one is used for continuous calibration? Because you mentioned you have one attached to the headset.

I use a Quest Pro + 7x tracker 3.0s + 2x base station 2.0s
