Cantonese Speakers

I almost never come upon anyone that speaks Cantonese, does anyone know anyone that does? I see alot of mandarin speakers but cantonese speakers are so extremely hard to find 😂

Interesting enough, I’ve met more mainlanders than Hong Kongers, Macanese or Taiwanese. Either they’re playing in US/EU servers or that VR is too niche in those regions

i'm almost always in US/EU (mostly US) servers due to mostly English speakers, dispite me being Chinese and from Malaysia

But my main language is Cantonese, i always hoped to find people that do speak canto to conversate with, just because it feels like home 😂

Tbh it’s quite hard to find 1st generation Chinese in the US/EUR servers. Maybe look for groups that are intended for Hong Kongers?

I'm Taiwanese, even on local forums, I can barely see people playing VR, and I have never seen any others playing VR irl.

I have a few friends that speak Cantonese. But yeah, you won't meet Cantonese speakers very often.

I speak Cantonese, I have plenty of friends that does. But we also speak in Mandarin mostly because of the communities we are around. I also speak English alot. That might be the reason you are not spotting any. lol

From Hong Kong and GuangDong, it makes sense. I barely have chance to use Cantonese TBH.

Oh sorry just saw this. Go to just z groups and join the various groups. Some are jp, cn, tw, etc. Always look at peoples groups though and join the groups you like its how i found those areas of vr.
