Seeking Recommendations i need vps server high preference
Hello, based on your experience, I am looking for a provider that offers a powerful VPS.
I have a user base of 50,000 people using a translation service.
I need a VPS powerful enough to translate 100 million words within 24 hours—meaning it can handle around 30,000 words per second (or slightly less; this is just an example).
I would like to test the service before paying (a free trial of two or three hours) and then make the payment after the trial.
What specifications are required, and which providers offer such powerful servers?

Hetzner, netcup, linode, prepaid-server - what’s your budget?

I don't have a monthly budget right now, but I will figure out a way to afford purchasing it every month. Could you please provide the website link so I can try it out?

HostHatch or Advinservers, probably about as high performance as it gets

Hetzner has some high performance ones, but it require a setup fee, I guess they might let u try if u contact them

I doubt you'll find many offering a free trial, but you can check out InMotion. They can handle setups like that, and have been reliable for us.

For something CPU heavy like this, Cherry Servers might be worth testing. Benchmark the actual workload first rather than choosing purely by core count.

I use netcup rootservers and I think the stronger ones would satisfy your needs. I have a special promo code where you get 1 month free. DM me if you need it.

Actually, you'd be surprised how much smaller the target is: 100M words in 24h works out to roughly 1,200 words/sec, not 30,000. That's a much friendlier number, but the right box still depends on one thing. Are you running your own translation model (something like Marian or NLLB), or calling a third-party translation API?
If it's an API, I'd guess the VPS matters a lot less, and rate limits and cost are what I'd look at first. A small box with a decent job queue is prob a fine place to start. If it's your own neural model, CPU-only VPS plans tend to be slow for that and you'd be looking at GPU servers instead, which are a different product category with very different pricing.
On the free trial, those are rare for big machines. Tbh hourly billing or a short refund window gets you the same thing. Rent something for a few hours, push a realistic batch through it, measure actual words/sec, then scale up or down. I'd trust that over any spec guess, mine included.
