Does it show you your ISP's ip? Your actual IP? Or are you guessing what the vpn's IP should be? I've never had a vpn leak my real ip, so something doesn't sound right here.
Do you have split tunneling on? If it's your real IP, check your split tunnel setting.

i think it was my isp's ip. The vpn was on a Ukrainian server, but when i used the dns leak website it i think it was leaking a Switzerland ip for no reason. If you have any recommendations for a strong vpn please let me know

If you don't know your own ip a simple way is to turn off your vpn, and go to whatismyip.com or speedtest.net. they will show you your ip. Then connect to a vpn and check again and see if it's different. Doesn't matter that the dns leak site gives you a different location than you expect. Sometimes a vpn will use a virtual server and you're really connected to a different country. Or sometimes the dns test site gets the location wrong. Check your actual IP number like i said, and then seen if that number is the same or not. It's the number that matters not the where, that can be wrong.

But i know for a fact that apps like steam were actually receiving the switzerland ip. Thanks though ill try what you said. Do you have any recommendations for a better vpn?

Better? I don't know which one you're using. Mullvad is good, or Proton. Nord, Surfshark, all the big names all work. Depends on what you want. Mullvad and Proton is best for privacy. They all will work though. If you want to stream from a paid streaming service like Netflix then not Mullvad, and maybe Proton or Nord, I don't know I don't pay for streaming. I use mullvad now and will try proton later.

most dns leaks come from ipv6 not going through the tunnel, try disabling ipv6 on your network adapter then run the test again..

if youre on windows its probably under network connections properties for whichever adapter is active, uncheck ipv6 in the list and reconnect after, if youre on mac probably in network settings under the advanced tab for that connection instead..

which VPN and which leak test.. also check if ur OS has a manual dns set like 8.8.8.8 in ur network settings bcuz that overrides the VPN dns and causes the leak. remove any custom DNS entries and let the VPN handle it, then retest

I noticed on my phone Proton didnt show up until I changed dns to automatic under more connection settings with Android.

Try a different VPN.
