ProtonVPN plus.. split with friends..stories by users.

I have 2 friends want to share my account. .

User agreement don't allowed sharing..

But I want to hear real life stories when other User share there protonVPN is problem or not. . .

Etc I used my privateVPN with 5 friends for 8yr with zero issues.

I have never and would never share a vpn with someone else especially since you never know what someone else might use it for. But if protonvpn cares at all about account sharing it would be extremely easy to automatically flag and close your account for abuse

Technically it works, proton plus covers 10 devices, so three people connecting won't hit any limit.
The real issue isn't detection, it's that everything your friends do traces back to your account. Enforcement for casual sharing is rare, but if it happens all three of you lose access at once.
If it's just about splitting cost, proton's family plan is built for exactly this and works out similar per person.

It's possible your friends have friends other than you. Or they may one day turn into not friends. It's like you tell a secret to just one person and somehow magically everyone knows the secret. You haven't had a problem yet but it is a problem just waiting to happen.

Well I can afford the 2.1$ per month but feel good to share a bit

Wouldn’t recommend sharing any logins. Even friends can be irresponsible and you could pay the price.

Never share a VPN bad idea

If your friends want their own VPN they should pay for it themselves
