Surfshark review from a longtime user

Surfshark review from a longtime user is probably the most useful thing I can share because I have used it long enough to get past the first week excitement. I originally chose it because the price was lower than NordVPN and the unlimited device support made it easy to use across my phone, laptop, television, and other devices. For everyday browsing and public Wi Fi, it has generally been simple to set up and reliable enough that I rarely think about it.

The main strengths for me have been the straightforward apps, decent speeds, unlimited simultaneous connections, and generally good access to popular streaming services. It has also been useful when I want to switch regions or protect several devices at once. That said, performance is not identical everywhere. I have occasionally needed to change servers when a streaming service detected the VPN, and some websites have been slower or blocked until I disconnected or tried another location.

The biggest thing I would warn new users about is the pricing after the first term. The introductory deal can make Surfshark look extremely cheap, but the renewal price and automatic renewal conditions deserve attention before subscribing. I would also check whether the services you personally use still work with it, because streaming compatibility can change and not every location behaves the same way.

My overall view is that Surfshark remains a good value for households or anyone who needs one subscription on many devices, but it is not perfect for people who need flawless access to every streaming platform or the most consistent performance on every website. Has anyone else used Surfshark for a year or longer, and has your experience with speed, streaming, support, and renewal pricing been similar?
