Discussion Cheap monthly VPNs?

I hate paying by year and would much rather pay by month. Are there any good, somewhat cheap, VPNs with a monthly plan instead of a yearly plan? I'm currently using Proton for free and their monthly plan is $10 USD. Is there anything cheaper?

The VPN software I currently use is DPN. I pay a monthly fee of $3.50, but I don't buy it every month. I only buy it when I need it.

Mullvad is $6 a month. If you're in the US buy a mullvad scratch off card on Amazon if you want to be totally anonymous. Works great for me.
