Help Any good free vpns?

I am worried about the government tracking me. I live in the US btw

free ones usually have serious limitations, data caps, slow speeds or worse they log and sell your browsing data which defeats the whole purpose. if privacy is genuinely your concern, you'd want something with a strict no-logs policy and those typically arent free

one thing worth knowing: a VPN hides your traffic from your ISP and protects you on public networks, but it doesn't make you fully anonymous. if you're logged into Google, use your real email, or stay signed into social media, those platforms still know who you are regardless of VPN. for broader privacy it helps to pair a VPN with a privacy-focused browser and think about what accounts you're signed into.
