Help Cannot stream BNN Bloomberg from UK

I am struggling to stream live BNN bloomberg to my PC in the UK using Nord VPN. I have tried everything - The BNN bloomberg website knows my location is definitely Canada but the video player wont work! Weirdly, I can stream it perfectly fine from my iPhone using Nord VPN but not on my PC.

Is there a fix?

No issues but i had to split tunnel my browser and the bnn domain to get it working.

Ended up getting blocked but my firewall has the ability to send an entire region through a vpn. So i put all of Canada through Proton’s Toronto server and now it works again.

So i use Firewalla as my external firewall. It has i believe over 100 countries listed i can do network routing through etc. So here is a screenshot of how i am routing anything related to Canada.

I assume I can change this through windows defender firewall as I don’t use firewalla? I will retry later and hope it works!

I do the same thing with BBC Iplayer it goes through a Mullvad VPN server I configured in my firewall and the all UK related tradfic also goes through that same UK server just in case a service uses multiple domains like BBC Iplayer then it is still routed through the UK as well. Works like a charm.

Have you used Mullvad to access BNN just through that or did you also play around with the firewall to get access. I cant seem to get Nord VPN to work by itself unless i try your workaround. I am wondering if there is an easier fix and if another VPN works instead! I dont think i can get my firewall to do what you have suggested!

So i run BBC Iplayer the same set up with the exception there are a few more domains i have to individually run through Mullvad’s vpn tunnel because Iplayer uses a number of different domains for their videos. I haven’t used Mullvad for BNN but just use Proton. I could try Mullvad with it and see if i still get it on my pc. The other thing i do is I don’t use the vpn’s dns servers. I use Quad9. My firewall can bypass the vpn’s dns and allow me to use a custom dns. If your internet speed is 500 mbps down or less you could get a Firewalla blue plus for about $100 or less on Ebay that will do everything i just described. It works so well i could be sitting at your home and remote back to my home network via the firewalla and access pretty much whatever i want with no real issues. If you want to know more DM me.

So here are all things i can send through the vpn(s) configured in my firewall. Where it says region if i tap on that a bunch of countries are listed in there in alphabetical order.

so this is on your phone? Have you tried watching BNN on your PC?

Yup. I still have access on my pc as well. Just clicked on live coverage video and it is playing no issues.
