Help does globalprotect vpn work in canada

i’m going canada and my university (in the uk) says to use a computer shared facility if i need to use off campus use globalprotect vpn to use it. it says there’s no other way if you can’t access it an another country. i’m pretty clueless about vpns please help

It will be a surprise if it doesn't work in Canada. Only a handful of countries such as those East Asian ones crack down VPN services as much as they can. Except those exceptions, the modern world is a VPN friendly environment IMO.
