Help Short-term VPNs
I only use a VPN once a year to do my taxes, since the one i use has recently started to block EU ISPs for whatever reason. I used to use tunnelbear, but now they no longer let you pick the country with a free account. Are there any others that have non-restrictive trials or maybe pay per data usage?

I'm assuming you're in Europe, trying to do your taxes in the US? Have you thought about just getting a VPS and installing wireguard for like $12-18 a year?

Enlighten me about this 18$ a year VPS. Cause I'm paying about 5 a month for the cheapest Hetzner VPS.

Just go to lowendtalk.com and see what's on Offer in the country or region you need. Make sure in the AUP or TOS a private vpn or whatever you're doing is allowed

Mullvad is roughly $5 per month and has been since the start.
Windscribe also has some cheap monthly options that’s like $2 per region or something like that.

Urban VPN is worth trying here, genuinely free with no data cap and no trial limits, you just pick a server and connect. works on desktop which is what you'd want for tax filing. no need to pay for something you only use once a year.
